Sparta's many parks are an attraction in themselves.  The newest city park is over 100 acres with walking trails along the river, bird watching and solitude.  The state bike trail, award-winning golf course, swimming pool and the LaCrosse River/Beaver Creek provide plenty of outdoor recreation.

This is the Chamber Office - in a restored Northwestern Railroad Depot built in 1903.  It serves as an information/welcome center for visitors and the thousands of bicyclists that ride the Elroy-Sparta and LaCrosse River State Trails.
